Pertinent Medical History: Massive weight loss (110 lbs) following gastric bypass surgery
Patient's Presenting Complaint/Desires: Excessive loose skin of upper arms. Wants to be able to wear short sleeves and sleeveless tops.
Procedure: Standard brachioplasty (arm lift) with removal of skin and fat transversely in the armpit and longitudinally down to the elbow.

Results: Patient very happy with improved contour of arms and satisfied with appearance of scars. Able to wear any top with or without sleeves comfortably.

Patient's Presenting Complaint/Desires: Redundancy of skin of the upper arm near the armpit. Did not want a visible scar on the arm.
Procedure: Axillary brachioplasty with removal of skin and fat transversely from the axilla and tightening of skin without direct skin removal from the arm.

Results: Patient very happy with appearance of her arms in all clothing. No scars on the arms.
